Privacy Policy
Last updated: 10 March 2026
1. Who we are
Aethus Turbo is operated by Aethus Limited, a company registered in England and Wales. When we say “we”, “us” or “our” in this policy, we mean Aethus Limited.
If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, contact us at hello@aethus.co.uk.
2. What data we collect
Account information
When you create an account or join the waitlist, we collect your name, email address, and company name (if provided).
Social media data
When you connect a social media account (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, or Threads), we access data through the platform’s official API on your behalf. This includes:
- Page and profile information (name, follower count)
- Post content and engagement metrics (likes, comments, shares, impressions)
- Page-level analytics (reach, engaged users)
We store OAuth access tokens in encrypted form (AES-256-GCM) and never share them with third parties.
Content you create
Posts, ideas, strategies, media assets, and other content you create within the platform are stored to provide the service.
Usage data
We collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) to maintain security and improve the service.
3. How we use your data
We use your data to:
- Provide and operate Aethus Turbo, including AI-powered content recommendations
- Publish and schedule posts to your connected social media accounts
- Generate analytics and growth reports
- Send you service-related emails (e.g. weekly plan notifications, password resets)
- Improve the platform and fix bugs
4. AI processing
We use third-party AI services (currently OpenAI) to generate content suggestions, weekly plans, and design assets. When we send data to AI providers, we include only the minimum context needed (e.g. your business description, content pillars, and anonymised engagement metrics). We do not send personal data such as your email address or social media credentials to AI providers.
5. Data sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only with:
- Social media platforms — to publish content and fetch analytics on your behalf
- AI providers — to generate content (see section 4)
- Infrastructure providers — hosting, database, and email delivery services that process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements
- Law enforcement — if required by law
6. Data retention
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it.
Analytics snapshots and engagement metrics are retained for up to 24 months for trend analysis.
7. Your rights
Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR), you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict processing
- Data portability
- Withdraw consent at any time
To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@aethus.co.uk. We will respond within one calendar month.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and maintain your session. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
9. Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. OAuth tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM. Access to production systems is restricted and monitored.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the platform. The “last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.
